Caroline and Corbett! What to say…they are a gorgeous couple with love and silliness and all those great things that make a relationship real! Caroline is a classic beauty! And Corbett is just good ole handsome!!!!! These two make a stunning couple! I was so excited to be a part of their day. The wedding took place at Laguna Gloria, which as most of you know is one of my most favorite locations! Aimee from Lizze Belle Events was the amazing coordinator behind this event! Last Petal was responsible for the gorgeous floral! And Nisa Nicole was the uber fabulous makeup artist!!! (be on the look out for her bridal portraits, coming soon! Thanks everyone for such a spectacular day!!!!!
Ahhhhhh…. A laid back backyard wedding is so lovely! My good friend Vanessa of Photography by Vanessa asked if I would be willing to shoot one of her best friends intimate backyard wedding. Of course!!!!! I had met Sam just in passing a couple of times and just knew she was a good peep! Vanessa was banned from shooting by Sam. She wanted her girlfriends to just relax and enjoy the day with her and Terry. It was just a great day. Everyone was so easy going and fun to just shoot something so personal. It reminded me of why I love weddings so much. That is truly about a gathering of close family and friends and for a couple to show and share their love with each other and for the people that they care about. Don’t get me wrong I love all weddings, large and small! I love that weddings truly reflect the couple and their personalities and this was just perfect for Sam and Terry! There was one request, Sam really wanted a picture taken in the style of the American Gothic painting. I love this picture!

A storm started to roll in towards the end of our shoot and it got quite a bit breezy! I can’t wait for their wedding this August!!! Thanks guys for being so trusting and here are a few of my favorites!!!!
This is the creaky train trestle we stood on. So worth it for the pics we got. Thank goodness Jeff is a bit of a dare devil but at the same time makes you feel like all is safe!
