{Baby Evie is 1!!!}

My little niece is 1!!!!! And so adorable! Here is a mix of photos from her birthday party and first cake. Along with some photos from a little session we did at my place with her fun skirt! (Yep totally selfish purchase made by me!)

{Ashley’s Highball Bridal}

One of my best friends and amazing photographer, Diana with Diana M. Lott Photography asked if I wanted to tag along to shoot Ashley’s bridal session at The Highball in Austin! And of course I said YES!!! I love the vintage feel of this place, not to mention some awesome food and drinks mixed with bowling, you have a Saturday night!! I loved all of Ashley’s accy’s and her dress was perfect for the place!!!! So here are some of my favorites from the day! Thanks D and Carmela for letting me come along. And thanks Ashley for being a wonderful model! I know your wedding will be a blast and if I could I would be there in a heartbeat!!!!!

{Alyson + Rob}

Alyson and Rob said their I Do’s at the Wildflower Center in Austin, TX. The weather that had been questionable over the past couple of weeks was amazing! Blue skies and a little chill in the air but it made for perfect snuggling up photos. Sydney is Rob’s precious little girl that had some funny little sayings through out the day. I think my favorite is that when she heard people could not attend the wedding, she would respond “That’s ok, we will just send them a picture of me in my dress.” It was definitely about her. Alyson and Rob just seem to fit so perfectly, a mix of silliness and love that makes them a beautiful couple inside and out. So now they have a happy little family and wonderful people that surround them! Thanks for being such wonderful models and for letting me be a part of your day! {The Knot – Real Wedding Kate + Evan}

Woohoo!!! in the Knot again!!! So I am super excited to share this post. NOt only did I get asked to shoot the Austin Knot party for The Knot and let mention that this event was put on by the lovely ladies over at Caplan Miller Events. I will be showing some of those images in one of the next postings. The event was gorgeous and super good food by Kurant Events. The event was held at Laguna Gloria.

Also featured in this publication is the Real Wedding of one of my most favorite couples! Kate and Evan!!! It is an awesome 6 page spread highlighting some of the most amazing details which include, a champagne bar with all the add ons served in huge ice bowls, a cookie bar with milk punch and let it be known that Kate’s grandmother made tons of the little pink cookies specially for  Kate and Evan and their guests. Once again I have to mention Gina with Clink Events for putting together this themed wedding that was inspired by the words “midnight garden party thrown by Anthropologie” one of the best all time themes!!! So here it all is!! Thanks to everyone and especially the knot!!!!

{Abbi + Dean}

Abbi and Dean….What can I say! I think these pics will speak for themselves. Yes, they are that cute in real life and giggly and sweet! They are my kind of couple. A girl that loves Anthro and a boy that wears cowboy boots! Ahhhh perfect. There wedding is just around the corner, well May, but it will be here before we know it and I can’t wait! When Abbi contacted me adn told me her wedding was at Laguna, I was thrilled. Laguna Gloria and I are like peas in a pod, I love to shoot there! Then she told me that Clink was her coordinator I was really excited! I know Clink will do a fabulous job and for the things I have heard already I know it will be nothing short of fabulous! {Laura + Daniel}

Ok, where to begin! I didn’t actually meet with Laura and Daniel but with her mom, Sandy and Mike. I had such a fun time getting to chat with them. I remember lots of laughing at that meeting. So when I got an email from Laura saying she was excited to be working with me, I couldn’t wait to meet her and Daniel! SO what better time than their engagement! It was a blast. Laura and Daniel are just one of those cute giggly couples that I LOVE! So fast forward to present day and their wedding day! It was gorgeous and so classic. I loved Laura’s veil and that shot of her having it put on is so timeless! Needless to say it was a great way to start our first wedding for the year and I have to thank all the vendors that made it such a great evening! Congratulations to you two and your families!

{Dinorah + Marc}

I got to meet this wildly-fun little couple through my awesome friend and coordinator extraordinaire, Gina with Clink Events. Gina and Dinorah group up together and so this was a fun mix of reunions and celebration! I was so excited to head out to Playa del Carmen and shoot their wedding! It was a sweet intimate wedding ceremony and then off to d some serious partying at the reception. This group can party and dance!!!! Check out the pics below for the proof! I had a great time and thanks to Dinorah and Marc for being such troopers. They set aside a little extra time for us to do some fun portraits around the venue. Thanks Gina for yelling at people on the beach to stay out of the background of my shots! And Congratulations to the two of you!!!!
