{Brooklie + Steve}

Brooklie and Steve! Oh where to begin with this cute lovey couple! Seriously, you can’t help but to be smiley when you are around them! They tied the knot at Smith Chapel and I love the way they had it decorated. The flowers down the aisle were amazing! They did a little first look and their dog Risa was the ring bearer. Then guests headed to downtown Austin to the W and were greeted with a purple sugar rimmed specialty cocktail and a mariachi band! In honor of Brooklie’s mom they set up a an art gallery with blank canvases for the guests to paint throughout the night. It was such a fun and unique way to get the guests involved and art work for Brooklie and Steve’s home! The reception doors opened up to a modern dinner setting with white chivaris and draping to uplit walls washed with purple and purple flowers and linen. The guests danced the night away to the sounds of Memphis Train and Steve even got up on stage to perform for his lovely wife!! The night ended with a lavender send off and the couple rode off in a pedicab! What a fabulous party! So many great vendors to thank for making this day come together!

  • We stayed at The Granary at the end of July 2012. Our first commnet when we saw the surroundings and the house was ; what a perfect decision we had made! We are a couple that love to travel and we usually look for relaxing, rustic and charming places. The Granary is made for that. The room with air conditioning made our nights comfortable, the patio was lovely to enjoy breakfast and dinner and the kitchen was cute and complete. The bathroom was clean and modern with a nice shower and European W.C. (not the hole in the ground). Also, the pool made the degrees feel less ; we enjoyed the swimming pool every day!Beside the house being charming, it is very important to say that we were able to visit everything in the area. Thanks to Jon and Sandy, we rented a car that allowed us to visit beaches, ruins, restaurants, villages .Our overall note for Sakli Vadi is 10/10. It is a dream place!Thank you Jon and Sandy for such lovely cottages!
